I think my face is something between round and square, but I’m not sure about it… . My hair’s cut in layers (1:
10cm under my shoulders 2: shoulder length), so the haircut should be okay for my face shape :).

Thanks a lot, this video helped. When telling a hair stylist about the outward layers, would you tell them by
referring to the layers that do not go inward by ‘outward layers’?

For those of you confused about the heart shape: If your forehead is wide and then slowly narrows all the way down
to your chin then you have a heart. Kinda looks like an upside down teardrop or upside down egg. (I have a heart
shape)
This was VERY helpful! I had to go look at my Facebook profile picture to see what shape face I have. Now, I know
why I look hideous in really short haircuts with volume on top! LOL
I have a diamond face shape and I have had bangs before and looked amazing with it. And yes I DEFINATLY know how to
tell if I have a diamond face shape. I’m not that stupid.
I’m still confused whether I have a heart shaped face or a square shaped face. I know I’ve got a square forehead..
But then I have quite visible jaw bones as well as a very tapered chin.. Sometimes the square shape shows if I’ve
got my hair up.. But I’m more into big hair that stays down, so in photos, it looks like I’ve got a heart shaped
face cos the jaw bones are covered and the chin is more in view..
All those tips sound logical and helpful but I’m so struggling with finding out what my face shape is. Because I
would say an oval type but it’s not at all true that every haircut fit me so I’m probably wrong..? A centre parting
doesn’t suit me at all so I would say that it’s probably some weirdo-pear shape cause the forehead seems narrower
than the lower part of my face. Would you have any tips for that?
My face doesn’t look like any of those. It’s like square but with a narrow jaw, but not as narrow as heart although
forehead bigger than jaw like heart shaped.
