THANK YOU so much for the tip to braid hair under instead of over to prevent the bump. I’m awful with hair but mine is down to my hips. I don’t usually style it ( I naturally have super thick dead straight hair so most never stay) so the most I can do is two little braids pinned back and I freaking hate that bump. I don’t know why I never thought if that before!!!?
I have curly hair and if I dare blow-drying it, it’ll look like a crazy fro and not very pretty even when I straighten it (which is a chore nowadays), so braids and twists are my go to style and I do it as soon as I get out of the shower.
